TROPAG CONFERENCE 31 October – 2 November 2022 Brisbane, Australia
TROPAG DRAWS GLOBAL CROWD
Welcome to TropAg
With the global population estimated to reach 10 billion by 2050, the pressure is on for food and agricultural scientists to support the production of high-quality agricultural produce and nutritious food to meet population growth.
This message set the tone for 1000 delegates from around 53 countries who attended the fourth TropAg conference in Brisbane from Monday 31 October to 2 November 2022.
TropAg Shaped the Science of Tomorrow, by featuring leading Australian and international scientific voices who are actively engaged in advancing research and raising awareness of the many challenges in the diverse field of agriculture and food production.
TropAg is hosted by The University of Queensland – a world leader in agriculture and food research, with support from the Queensland Government via the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, a Scientific Committee, an International Advisory Committee and vital partners and sponsors.
TropAg welcomed HarlanIV and AgFutures as part of the three-day program in 2022. These leading groups joined four other themes to make up the symposium program including:
- Agribusiness, value chains, and the bioeconomy
- Predictive agriculture
- Sustainable agrifood systems
- Healthy agriculture and food for healthy communities
We thank you for joining us in Brisbane for the TropAg conference.
